Located in the center of the Nile River, the mother river of Egypt, the Nile fountain is the oldest fountain in the Middle East. It was built and put into use in 1956, but later stopped operating in the 1970s and 1980s for various reasons. On January 29, 2021, after the Nile fountain was out of service for about 40 years, this "Pearl" on the Nile was able to bloom again through the careful design and production of Rainbows Fountain. This grand event also received strong coverage from local media.
The diameter of the whole fountain project is about 22 meters, and five water types are used, showing an orderly and well arranged visual effect as a whole. The center high jet can be sprayed up to 100 meters high and 30 meters for center ring. The water column rises and falls with music and light, and dances vigorously. The visual effect is extremely shocking, and it can still be seen 100 meters away. The three-dimensional, outward throwing and rainbow crossing water types with low spray height bring richer effects to the fountain. With the rhythm of music, the water column either stretches outward like a flower, or throws outward like a rainbow arch bridge. The 360 ° rotating nozzle makes the water column dance like soft ribbons in the air and deduce a variety of shapes in the night.
It is understood that the Nile fountain carries many important memories of Egyptians, and has made amazing appearances in many film and television works such as the Egyptian film "bride of the Nile" and the film "soft hands". Now, with the help of Rainbows Fountain, the Nile fountain has regained its former glory and once again become an important companion in Egyptian life, shining with new light in the waters of the "eternal river" Nile.
